FriendEye

Being a long time in front of a computer screen can cause eye strain and eventually damage the eyes. One way to mitigate these effects is to lower the brightness of your display, which FriendEye lets you do with just one click.

When you run the program, a small icon appears in the systems tray without having to install it. Then with a simple click, the screen automatically darkens slightly, taking some of the strain off your eyes.

To access the program´s few options, you just right click on the icon. There you can set how much you want to lower brightness on a scale of one to a hundred.
